And then there were....

Only Two More!!

Greetings to you all! I have been tatting away at these little buggers. After figuring out the right mix of space in relation to picot size...I've been tatting, tatting, tatting. Only two more of the small motifs and then I get to do the rounds which will attach them to the mother ship doily.

I'll keep you posted....until then, happy tatting!!

  1. I am anxious to see the attaching round(s). More than likely I would have done the round and then fought with attaching each motif as I made it, which is why I usually avoid making doilies with motifs. Really, I have actually done that with both crochet and tatting. Now I feel really dumb! You have inspired me to re-think that :)

  5. Hi John,
Nice to meet you! I found your blog through Threads of a Tatting Goddess. I don't tatt...but recently did get a book and needles to try needle tatting. Not sure when I think I'll have the time for a "new" hobby...but I am intrigued. At present, I'm up to my shoulders in crazy quilting, beading, and crochet! I love you doily project...stunning! The little rounds would be perfect for tiny crazy quilt projects...would you consider selling any of them? If so, contact me.
